Nomination

People of diverse backgrounds are nominated to receive one of 12 Diversity Awards. Nominees are people who inspire, transform, empower, showcase, celebrate and integrate elements of our mosaic through leadership, excellence, harmony and innovation. A committee under the direction of Silvertrust Communications selects and notifies successful candidates, who are then honored at a prestigious gala. Unsuccessful nominations may be considered in subsequent years.

Awards are handed out in twelve categories including: Lifetime Achievement Award, Leadership Award, Innovation Award, Development Award, The Professional Excellence Award, Public Service Award, Community Service Award, The Media Award, Entertainment Award, Enterprise Award, Harmony Award and Heritage Award.
